Bit arrived very quickly which they always do with this seller. I cut oak, oak plywood, alder with no problems. Slightly move part of the groove of the cut backwards, otherwise the drill bit will cut the edge of the tree. After cutting, the fit is excellent with about 1/16 left at the bottom of the groove. The material I cut out was 3/4 (the layer was slightly smaller). The bit stuck together a bit, but the CMT cleaner removed the material with no problem. AD2

I used these bits to connect 12 segments of white oak into a circle. The bits seemed to dull quickly as the first few cuts were just fine with just the stop. After breaking a few pieces when the bit caught instead of cutting, I made a reliable jig and the rest of the cuts were successfully completed. White oak is a pretty tough material and I probably should have used a jig from the start as these are larger pieces that remove a significant amount of material.

I loved these bits but was disappointed with the results. The bits have been packaged in a beautiful protective wooden box and the bit sizes are printed on the outer box. But there were no instructions on how to use them - I ended up watching an online video about MLCS beats.
