Good for big chamfers

Hard to find a chamfer cutter with an angle greater than 45. He did his job very well. You can cut and make large bevels. I reduced the speed of the cutter because it is so wide and also reduced the feed of the material. As with any other big beat, it will work great if you work slowly over multiple passes!

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Excellent quality bit

I bought this cutter specifically to make a bevel on the top of a 3 piece bedroom set I was putting together. I am completely satisfied. It made clean cuts of excellent quality without sticking itself across the grain. A little CMT or Freud could easily set you back over $70. For a fraction of the price, these bits work just as well. I definitely recommend them.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Great in my Jessem Router Lift

It's a bit of a beast. Bite off in small pieces and slowly lower the router onto the router table. The manuals advise you to slow down your router with such large bits. I haven't done this and found it to be easy to use and give clean cuts at high RPM. But GOD! Don't forget which direction you're going. This bit throws a 2 x 4 across space if you approach it from the wrong direction.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
