1 star because I was able to attach the towel with the button, nice feature. It would be helpful to know hair types who thought this towel was the next best thing. Completely useless! I don't know who writes these good reviews but I bought it because of reviews and my mom and I used it. My hair has been wrapped tightly for an hour and a half and is almost as wet as it was after the shower. With a normal towel my hair would be almost dry. This is madness!

I bought this towel at Walmart a few years ago for the price of these two and it doesn't last very long and gets moldy very easily. I've been wearing them for about a week and so far they have exceeded my expectations. As someone with curly hair, they are great at moisturizing my hair and allow me to apply the product without completely drying out my hair. They also dry relatively quickly for reuse.

I had my doubts about the button design but after dozens of uses and washes it held up very well. I have very thick frizzy hair, my hair kills the elastics and drips. At first I wasn't sure how well this product would hold up, but it was worth it. It dries the hair fairly quickly and reduces the fluffiness of the curls. I highly recommend this product for medium to long hair.

I have thick wavy long hair and this is the FIRST headband that stays in place and is big enough after I curl it. It stays in place, I even slept in it and it stayed (I use a satin pillowcase). A great way to slow dry your hair and keep it healthy. I found that my curls didn't frizz after sleep and I could go to work with wavy hair, which I haven't done in a long time! I will buy more for my daughters!
