Great yo-yo. Spins very long.

Excellent yo-yo. It spins for a very long time - about 40 seconds if you throw it hard. It spins for minutes if you don't speak to it. Very durable. It's hit the hard floor a few times and hit the ceiling once, and no dents or anything. Very easy to take apart. I had to tighten the center screw a bit with an allen wrench when I first got it because it wobbled a bit, but once tightened it didn't wobble at all. The best yo-yo I've ever seen. I'm thinking of buying another one for doing loop…

I thought it must be immune.

I thought the DC888 was meant to be an unresponsive yo-yo. Is my bearing broken or has something changed? Also remember that this is a heavy yo-yo. This is great for certain tricks, but if you're just starting out it might not be the best choice because if you get confused and something, someone, hits you, or even your joints, it's going to hurt. Update: Apparently the yoyo factory changed this yoyo from non-responsive to responsive last year. I didn't know about it as they kept the same name…

While the xt Butterfly was a good yo-yo to reignite my interest in the hobby,

I recently started playing Yoyo again after finding Duncan Imperial in line at the Naval Exchange cash register. After using the Imperial for a few hours I decided I wanted to get a more advanced yoyo and went back and found the Duncan Butterfly xt and tried to relearn some basic tricks from my youth. After looking at many trick guides and buying guides I decided I needed a better quality yo-yo so I could relearn the basics and also update it to play different styles as I got more experience…
