Description of YUYOYE Chenille Knitting Crochet Ginger 12

100% Micro Polyester. It is smooth and has outstandingly softness which resembles the texture of velvet. Its even and plush fiber pile makes chenille a primary choice for making blanket. It is a kind of fancy yarn as well, obviously, as the fabrics reflect light differently because of the direction of the fiber pile, this effect can make the items appear shiny and iridescent. This chenille yarn is very soft, puffy, thick, and strong, with a thick, short pile. It does not fade, does not crumble, looks beautiful in the final product. Also, in ready products, the thread holds its shape well, hardly stretches. After washing do not deform, the color does not change. Ideal yarn for baby blankets, sweaters, booties and scarves, slippers, blanket, pillow, and amigurumi. Knitting Gauge: 18 sts and 20 rows with a 6 mm knitting needle. Crochet Gauge: 10 sc and 15 rows with a 5 mm crochet hook. Each ball size - 100g/ 3.5 oz, 150 meters/ 164 yards

Colors do not match

I thought I'd get more teal, but it's definitely green-green. And the size in the photo is not exactly the same. Maybe the size I got. Now I understand that this was to be expected, but it was a significant difference in size.

Pros
  • Gauge: 18 sts and 20 rows on 6 mm needles. Gauge: 10 single crochets and 15 rows in 5mm crochet stitches
Cons
  • Only available in black

Very nice and velvety

This comfortable chenille yarn is knitted at approximately 5.5 stitches per inch - slightly thicker than worsted yarn. The result is a soft, velvety fabric, ideal for blankets, toys, hats or scarves. It will also be a cute jacket for a little girl. The twine will not break or knot when in use. It is polyester but cannot be tumble dried although it is machine washable. I will probably hand wash it to ensure it retains its luxurious texture for as long as possible.

Pros
  • chenille yarn is very soft, fluffy, thick and durable with a thick short pile. Does not fade, does not crumble, looks beautiful in the final product. Even in finished products, the thread keeps its shape well, almost does not stretch. After washing, they are not deformed, the color does not change. Ideal yarn for baby blankets, sweaters, booties and scarves, slippers, blankets, pillows and amigurumi
Cons
  • High Price

VERY SOFT and VERY SILKY

This yarn is really beautiful and has an AMAZING feel. The only thing I can say about this yarn is that it is so soft and so silky that it is a bit difficult to work with because it just slips and slides right over your fingers and needles. Aside from not accidentally dropping stitches, this yarn is beautiful to look at and has excellent texture. chosen because it shimmers beautifully over some pink tones that shimmer in the light and change with subtle shifts in the fibers. To be honest I…

Pros
  • It is smooth and extremely soft, reminiscent of the texture of velvet. Its even and fluffy pile makes chenille the main material for making blankets. It is also a kind of fantasy yarn, because fabrics reflect light differently due to the direction of fiber pile, this effect can make the products shiny and iridescent.
Cons
  • packaging is ugly
