Built into an HP Officejet Pro 8610. The printer barked that it was not genuine HP but I was able to continue. At first they printed normally, but the quality of color mixtures was questionable. the orange image looks more like rust. I cleaned and aligned the heads (3 times) but the color still wasn't the same. So I have to decide whether to spend $120 on genuine HP carts or replace the entire printer with a more affordable option for the average print user.

I have been in the same predicament as many of you: should I spend more than $100 to buy genuine cartridges or risk and non-genuine cartridges try out? I did a lot of research on the subject before deciding on these cartridges. HP is releasing a firmware update (1910A) and this update will be installed directly into your printer software and this update will prevent the use of outdated ink cartridges and once installed this firmware update cannot be uninstalled. So let's start by saying I have no complaints and will DEFINITELY buy them again. I had to run the "Print Head Cleaning" cycle about 15 times to get the ink to print smoothly. So if the print quality isn't very good, just keep cleaning. I wouldn't recommend buying for high quality photo printing, but for color or black and white documents they are great! Also sometimes some ink stays on the paper but 90% less than the famous brand so I can't complain. Just enter it again and continue…

We had a long unused HP 8600. At least six years. There was a printer error. Decided to order, the price was very reasonable. When they arrived they fit perfectly. After being sorted out several times, it was centered and the system checked. We've started printing. Everything turned out fine, there is a small difference in the reddish color. But for the price I think it will be ok. Much cheaper than original HP cartridges. We can live with a small color difference.

Just received in the mail. The price of replacement ink is crazy so I decided to try these. It works perfectly. The print quality isn't exactly perfect, as you can see from the photos. The first test page has multiple color bands. The second test page cleared up most of this. Run the printhead cleaning cycle twice as recommended in the instructions, which is great. Ideal for everyday printing. Hope they last a while. I will buy more if needed.

So I gave 4 stars just for the price and will upgrade to 5 stars if I really find out that the ink is not the problem. It could very well be the printer itself. I received a used HP Officejet 8600 scanner/printer, these inks work and the cartridges fit right away. At first the printer could not calibrate properly (so it could be a printer error). But everything I've printed had either full gaps where the ink barely touched the paper, or not all that touched the paper, or there were faint/blurry

At first I was concerned about using third party ink, but HP ink was so expensive I had to take a chance. I had absolutely no problems (and had no problems a few months later) installing or using them. Yes, the printer app (when I open it to scan) tells me that 3rd party cartridges are installed but they still work and the ink/print quality is just as good. Will definitely buy again!
