📚 ZAGG Rugged Book - Magnetic-Hinged Keyboard and Case for iPad Pro 10.5 inch, 10.2” iPad, iPad Air 3 - Black Review

This is my second Zagg book. I have 2 iPads and the first one still works great so I bought one for my iPad 10. We recommend! The only problem is that the iPad's pen groove is a bit loose, but it still works. I just wish it was a little firmer so the pen doesn't fall out. Maybe add a foam grip in the pencil groove...I don't know...but anyway I'm happy and love my Zagg books!

This case/keyboard was dead on arrival I called Zagg and they said the replacement would take a couple of weeks and that I'd be better should get a replacement from Revain. I have requested a replacement from Revain and it will take a week. This will be the last time I buy anything from Zagg. They should have frozen the new case as it's a one-day Prime item.

Zagg fits my iPad Air 3 perfectly. Fits well but light weight - stays in place. While waking up the keyboard before use takes some getting used to, the battery lasts for weeks - the tradeoff is worth it. One annoying thing is that the spacebar is pretty specific about where and how to press it for it to take effect. Too soft or too wide at the ends and the operation is dodgy. That would be a major annoyance, but I know from experience that other manufacturers have the same problem. Would I buy…

Our company gave us an Ipad 8 to work with, the problem was that they gave the whole company the same thin case, although mainly our special department works outside , and everything tends to get beat up more. I was a ZAGG fan. This was my fifth ZAGG Rugged Book for iPad in many years. But this iPad 8th Gen model had two major flaws that forced me to return it. First of all, all the middle row buttons didn't work except for three. Second, the hinge was so tight that the iPad-facing side of the hinge popped out every time the "book" was opened, making a noise that sounded like the hinge was about to break. Two stars because I liked everything else about ZAGG Rugged Book.

This case adds significant weight to the iPad. The keyboard easily detaches from the iPad. So when it feels heavy and I don't need the keyboard, I detach it and that's about half the weight of the device. I love how versatile it is. This is a good concept from a good brand. However, there are some design features that you should consider before buying: 1) The magnetic hinge does not hold well in the tablet when opening and closing. It holds up great if you don't adjust the screen angle. 2) The pen slot is really only useful for Apple Pencil, not a deal breaker. 3) Because this is a "permanent" case, the keys are not as responsive as most modern chiclet keys. 4) Finally, little attention has been paid to rubberized port…
