Disappointed with this keyboard

I am very disappointed with this keyboard. I have other Zagg keyboards and they are great. The durability of this keyboard is not that great, if you want to use it as a connected device (keyboard and stand are connected), it usually breaks easily. The keyboard is uncomfortable for me, it's not because of the size, because I have a flip case for the iPad mini which I love. The stand that holds the iPad isn't broken yet, but I can say it's only a matter of time and I'm trying to make it easier to

Nice case but stand hinge problem

This is a product that needs an overhaul. I ordered one knowing Zagg is a quality name. However, within a week one of the hinges on the stand supporting the iPad broke. I sent the case back and ordered a replacement. As soon as the replacement arrived, I tested it by opening up the caliper. The same loop broke on the first pull. I didn't force or overstretch the support. In both cases it was normal use. I sent the second case back for a refund. Aside from the hinge, the case was very good with…

I wanted it so much. but that didn't happen

I wanted a backlit keyboard that was adjustable (not just one or two possible viewing angles - but NO rotating screen because I found it shaking and moving constantly), which also had space for a handle so it could be stowed away and kept safe during transport. My two biggest issues/problems with this were that half the keyboard was only (loosely) attached to half of the iPad's body with a magnet - and the power cord didn't connect well to the body (loose, unplugged and not charging). The power

Almost great keyboard with many design flaws

GOOD: The keyboard has island-sized keys, which make it easier to type on than on a "cleaned" Apple keyboard. BAD: 1). Closing the keyboard doesn't turn off the iPad or the keyboard. This will eventually drain the battery on both the iPad and the keyboard. The Apple keyboard has a magnet and will turn off the iPad when closed.2). Because the keyboard doesn't have a magnet, it will pop open if you don't hold the keyboard and its cover at the same time. There have been instances where I tried to…

Folding loops are not durable!

I bought an iPad Pro for my wife at my local Best Buy store in February 2020. Instead of the case we usually buy for Apple products, she wanted a case with a keyboard. Best Buy had this ZAGG Slimbook case for $79.99, so we bought it. The hinges broke at the end of October 2020, as many of you reported. We have many Apple products and we take great care of them. She's babysitting this iPad and it's never been dropped. Well, she lived separately with him until February of this year. She really…

RIPPING Stand/Thinness Doubtful

Ripped in just a few months! I overestimated the strength of the hull. Please take a look at other reviews discussing hinge warpage and manufacturing defects. Worse, ZAGG will not honor the warranty if purchased from Revain. BUYER ALERT Original Review: I got this for class note taking and it's one of the best portable keyboards I've ever used! I've been craving an Apple keyboard, but that's part of the price. The running board hasn't creaked or cracked yet, read about it in other reviews, but…

Be careful with the rear stand

I've had about 5 Zagg keyboard cases for the iPad over the past few years. I like the old school Rugged Book for the older iPad Air 2. If they did the same style for the new iPad Pros that would be great. I had 2 Rugged Book Go for iPad Pro. Both of the struts broke off at the back. So this time I tried Slim Book Go. It is definitely different from Rugged Book. The keyboard is lighter and thinner and not as durable (you have to understand). The case that houses the iPad Pro is ok, there isn't…

Didn't last me four months

I bought this keyboard case last April and was very happy with it until I inevitably dropped it. To be fair the case did the job and did a great job of protecting my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. The iPad has no scratches. However, the hull was badly damaged. This means the only position the iPad will now be held upright is straight up. didn't come off, just weakened. So now it kind of rattles and I have to press about three times, changing the position of my finger slightly with each press to make it…
