I put the batteries in and it immediately lit up and started working! I tested all the buttons and they work just as well as the original. I'm a little worried about durability since it was so cheap, but I bought the protection plan for a buck. Good buy.

This is a replacement for the Samsung remote control. Works just like the Samsung if not better. I don't understand what can go wrong when investing in something like this. The only difference I see is the title. My Samsung is plasma and I wasn't sure if it would go well but the model number matched.

Delivered on time and well packaged. The remote looks like the 'twin' of the original remote that came with the TV/monitor, but obviously of inferior quality. It works, which is the main purpose of buying it, but you want a better quality original controller.

I received this remote to replace a completely different style Samsung remote for my TV. The old remote had a design flaw that caused the batteries to drain every month. While it wasn't an exact replacement, I had to do the usual things on all new Samsung TVs: launch Netflix, change the volume, and set a sleep timer. This remote does a great job at all of these things.

My original remote control is dead. I needed a new one because working with a modern TV without it is like hanging wallpaper with one hand tied behind your back during a hurricane. This one works a lot cheaper than what Samsung charges for a replacement. It's a little underpowered (very thin plastic body) and has a short range (about 12 feet max), but does all the usual things well.
