Works. The cables were an odd size; The yellow and blue wires from the winch itself are very short and the wires to the battery are too long. Otherwise I'm happy with the winch. Solidly built and looks nice.

Only rated it 4 stars because I haven't owned it for a very long time. Very capable of pulling every bit of the 5500# rating. Only 2 complaints so far: the winch cable needs to be at least 60 feet long and the lack of a wireless remote control. Mainly used on car trailers for winches on decommissioned vehicles.

I bought this Zeak for £5500. a synthetic winch for a PJ C5 trailer that I use to tow a Cam bin Maverick x3. The winch is compact and light (29 pounds). Synthetic rope adds a safety factor in my opinion. I also added a Zeak wireless remote control. It was professionally installed as I tend to break things. The whole system has been correctly priced and will meet my needs if I ever break down en route.

I bought this to mount on a car trailer. I don't need a bigger one, so I went for this one. I just wish they made one that size for the trailer, not side by side. The reason for this is that you have to assemble and install all the wiring as if it was installed on SXS for the remote to work. For now I just connect my jump directly to the terminals on it to make it work. I plan to eventually build a box to fit all the electronics to make the wireless remote work. This winch comes with all the parts you need. Mounting plate, guide and above all for me a plastic cable. I really needed portability so this particular winch was light enough, strong enough, and with a pulley it was able to exceed my needs. You can relieve the connections with a large number of connecting links.
