Zefal Swan Road Bicycle Fender: Ultimate Rear Protection in Sleek Black Design Review

I installed this fender on my commuter bike and it has greatly improved my wet weather rides. It takes seconds to install and is easy to snap on or off if you think it looks silly. I think it looks nice if you tuck it deep along with the handlebars, but that might just be me. A full wing is better at keeping your feet and ankles dry, but this road wing offers excellent protection for your back and glutes. and dry thighs.

This article takes up too much space due to this slanted, supposedly cool design. (Which I find childish.) I had a sks-bladed wing that was perfect, but it was stolen. The thing is cheaper, so I gave it a try. It s cheap. The processing is rather bad, the installation / attachment mechanism unnecessarily complicated, clumsy. Poorly. Cannot be mounted under the seat as too much clearance is required under the seat. If you are tall enough and your seat is set fairly high, this is not a problem.

Good product that was very easy to apply. I suppose it will work fine, there haven't been any rainy days here lately. I sincerely want to give it 5 stars but it is thinner/narrower than another brand I had many years ago and I chose Zefal just to try something new and I don't like how thin it is . But maybe it's my fault, maybe I should have researched the specs before buying. Despite how narrow it is, this is a five star product in my opinion.

I figured out how to fit this to my Bacchetta Basso recumbent. It would be very easy to install it on a regular upright bike. It bounces a bit when the bike rides over the smallest of bumps, but I don't think it affects its performance. I was looking for a detachable fender for my road bike when needed as I often ride railroad tracks and gravel alongside roads.
