Nothing special, there are positives and negatives.

In general, Asus, as always, pleases with its bold design and technological solutions. The company's products are always interesting and tasty. I have been using their products for more than 4 years and just now faced such a problem.

Pros
  • - Gorgeous 4K OLED touchscreen + optional 4K ScreenPad Plus; - High performance (Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card); - Stylus support (included with ASUS Pen) on both screens; - Harman Kardon acoustics with clear sound; - High reliability of ASUS laptops.
Cons
  • Unfortunately, I got a marriage and 3070 did not work when running Adobe creative programs. There were constant friezes. Because of what, working on a laptop 2 generations younger was much more pleasant than on my device. But again, I just got lucky with a defective model. I haven't noticed this problem with others.

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

In fact, unexpectedly pleased with the user support center. There were some misunderstandings, but they were quickly resolved)

Pros
  • In general, for a long time I had a choice regarding a working laptop, but top-end components, a second screen, the ability to comfortably work with a stylus and Nvidia recommendations tipped the scales towards Asus. I would especially like to highlight a fairly good sound, rich equipment out of the box and a strict design of the device. I'm not talking about top-end components here, because this goes without saying. I've been using it for a couple of months now and so far I'm happy with my purchase.
Cons
  • No deficiencies have been found so far.

Top-notch laptop for advanced computing

This laptop is a game-changer! The innovative screenpad feature is something I never knew I needed until I used it... Makes multitasking so easy! The graphics and sound quality are amazing and it’s perfect for all my advanced computing needs. As my tests showed, it is lightning fast and can handle any task I throw its way. The only downside is the expensive price tag, but YOU definitely get what you pay for. Overall i highly recommend this laptop to anyone in need of a top-of-the-line computer…

Pros
  • Innovative Screenpad enhances productivity by allowing easy access to frequently used apps and tools.
Cons
  • The list will be big.

In general, I was satisfied with the laptop. All the disadvantages described are just a matter of habit, and if I didn’t have the previous model, then I probably wouldn’t notice them, but if you, like me, switch from one model to another, then you will definitely pay attention to them. And most likely if it was my first laptop from this line, it would be just a delight to use it.

Pros
  • First of all, I liked the laptop with its performance, it met my expectations in terms of performance, I compared it with the previous UX581G model based on the i7-9750H processor, which I have been using for the last 1.5 years. The main thing, where I managed to feel and, so to speak, measure the increase in power - when rendering a model in Blender, the same model at a resolution of 2400x1800px UX581 renders in 3min 59 sec, UX582HS - 2min 17 sec, maybe not very significant, but in my case the difference obvious. I didn't have much to test the video card with. From a strong difference and an absolute plus - this model has a rising 2nd screen, it makes it much more convenient to use it than when it is fixed in the keyboard plane + the function of using it as a touchpad has been added. I really liked the fact that my current kit includes a laptop case, I didn’t have it in the kit before and often I missed it a lot, it’s noteworthy that the case has a convenient place for the pen and now you don’t need to look for it somewhere in the bag . They added another Type-C port, now there are 2 of them, in the previous model I had one, I used it to connect a monitor and, if necessary, connect an external SSD, I had to either use a USB adapter and sacrifice speed (about 2 times), or turn it off monitor. And it seems like you take it for granted, so you don’t pay attention to it, but now that there are 2 ports and you can simultaneously use both devices, it’s impossible not to pay attention to it. They improved the pen for drawing, more precisely, they didn’t improve it, but changed the design, removed the buttonhole from it, replaced 2 buttons with 1 “swing” and didn’t change the look much, otherwise the same pen. The power supply became a little prettier, although it remained the same huge and weighty, it’s very inconvenient to carry with you, so you have to have 2 pieces, one for home and one at work, it’s good that the old one fits, you won’t have to change it.
Cons
  • 1. The main disadvantage that you immediately notice is the case. In the previous model UX581G, the case is anodized aluminum, tactilely extremely pleasant, polished shiny ends and milled ventilation channels with clear perceptible edges, mmm, I will miss them very much. Why and for what purpose did they change it? Now the keyboard block is powder coated, looks cheap and not pleasantly tactile, at first it seems that it is plastic. 2. The keyboard buttons, again, in comparison with the previous model, were metal, but they either became rubber or the soft touch coating looks so unsuccessful, but be that as it may, for me the solution is much worse and again looks cheap. 3. Lifting screen, on the previous model perfectly fitted and sits perfectly in the seat. There is an obvious gap around the perimeter, into which dust will inevitably get 100%, so traces of glue are visible to everyone in the gap.

Complete set (since it is not in the product description and booklets for the product): laptop, AC adapter, power cord, stylus, folding laptop stand, wrist rest, backpack, warranty and useless booklets, one of which contains instructions: plug the adapter into the network , connect to a laptop, press the laptop's power button - and that's it! brilliant. On the first day, I checked everything, installed and launched Blender to test the work with 3D graphics, it pulls well. Rendering on the GPU…

Pros
  • Powerful, beautiful, good video card, the processor is quite suitable. Touch screen, second display. The main one is OLED with HDR support, the ScreenPad Plus screen is IPS. A touchpad with touch buttons to emulate a numpad is a good solution to an age-old problem, but located on the right, it may not be suitable for left-handers as a touchpad.
Cons
  • 1. The OLED touch screen has a small design flaw, as I understand it, in the entire Zenbook Pro Duo line, but as I read, other manufacturers also have this: its pixel structure does not give much, but a noticeable grid texture in bright colors, which me , as a person working with graphics, is somewhat annoying. This is not a defect, but the norm, it turned out. 2. Heavy AC adapter, no charging via Thunderbolt. 3. Very strange for these pieces of iron, but it lags when playing HDR videos from Youtube, even when HDR is turned off and the ScreenPad is turned off, and it's not even 4K. 4. There is no booklet with the bundle in the kit (apparently the buyer is invited to look for it in the reviews), as a result, the bundle turned out to be some kind of Asus backpack, and not a case, which I expected to receive after looking at the reviews. 5. I came across a defective stylus, so I can’t express a correct opinion, but I feel that this is far from the best stylus, for such a line it would be possible to choose a more ergonomic model. 6. ASUS software for working with the touch panel is damp.
