What value!: Accessories & Consumables

Just received this today and need to check it out. This is the best antenna I have ever used in my bedroom. We're having terrible digital reception. My townhouse has no line of sight, lots of trees, and no room for improvement. Due to the location I can only receive one channel and it is questionable. I hooked up this antenna and got the best picture ever! I have more channels? No, but the only way to get more channels is with a very powerful outdoor antenna, and as I don't own the place that's

Pros
  • Dipoles extend to 39"
Cons
  • Sad Equipment

Better than the more expensive model it replaced

I bought this based on the feedback I received. The one he replaced was about a year old and needed to be plugged into an outlet. It worked, but it always had to be moved/adjusted for a few channels. This antenna looks cheap but works much better. I live on the first floor of a two story building and the only time it always has to be physically moved for reception is when it's windy outside. A few of my neighbors who don't have cable because it's expensive will buy one.

Pros
  • Includes 1.5m coaxial cable
Cons
  • Frequency

Zenith VN1ANTP2 Indoor VHF/UHF Passive Antenna

I've read reviews and noticed that some people said the dipoles were less than 39 inches. I ignored these reviewers because one person specifically said they belonged with a different Zenith antenna. I had to listen to the skeptics. The dipoles of this antenna were not even 30 inches. DO NOT BUY THIS ANTENNA. This is my suggestion/recommendation to anyone looking for an indoor antenna and living in an apartment, especially if you live in a basement in a big city. The online description is…

great antenna: accessories and consumables

Received these today and hooked them up to my TV. The first channel it picked up when scanning was one that I couldn't pick up with my old antenna, no matter how many different ways I set it up. I was very happy about it. He also recorded another channel that I had trouble with like all the others I watch. It also collected a lot of useless ones that I removed. I'm happy with the fact that all the channels I watch come in without having to move the antenna to different locations for different…

Pros

Dipoles barely reach 20 inches, not 29 or 39 like they should.

I'm tired of Zenith misleading customers - this is the second time - If you need an antenna try another Zenith which is actual Has 39 inch dipoles, no loop app for ch 2-13. Save up only to give to a neighbor who needs a new HD antenna. By the way, it's not Revain's fault* - they're great - and charge for shipping when we ask. Zenith VN1ANTP1 Passive VHF/UHF Indoor Antenna Have 2 of these - "really" 39" dipoles - and 2 of 3 TV's receive channel 13-Lynchburg. Wait for Revain to stock and sell…

I have a signal 30 miles away.

I live about 30 miles from the nearest major network station. I hooked this little man up to my TV without an amp and was able to get 2 HD channels on the air. This was unexpected as the antenna website indicated I would need an active directional antenna. If you live a few miles from a TV station, this antenna will likely work for you. I ended up returning this Revain antenna because I got a much better signal with the active antenna, but I still rate it 4 stars. .The only downside, in my…
