They had pulled a broken knot off the hook holding it. They are glued and did not survive the delivery. I took a picture of how it broke in the box and when unpacked. I sent it to the seller, he asked me for a receipt and his photo. I sent a photo telling them and bought it from Amazon so I don't know why I need proof of purchase. We glued it with super glue, let's see if it holds.

As many customers have said, THIS PRODUCT stinks! It has a horrible, unpleasant, strong chemical odor. I've tried airing it out, dousing it in baking soda for a couple of weeks, and washing it many times. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT USING THE SMELL TO SUMMER MY HANDS AND FILL THE AIR! I wish I had read the other reviews before making the purchase. This product should be withdrawn from the market. After a few months I finally gave up and threw it away.

I ordered these Sailor Knot curtain hooks because I chose a sailboat shower curtain and they were perfect. You look just as great as I had hoped. They were easy to put on and didn't fall off the stem when I open/close the shower curtain. I'm not sure if the "teal/ivory" color description applies to the knots I bought because they're not actually teal. They are like the natural color of the rope with the worn white color. Maybe there is another set in turquoise.

Do not buy! I have 1 day past the return deadline, so I cannot return this item. Immediately after purchase I noticed a very strong chemical smell. It smelled like sanitary glue, but very strong. I washed it several times and decided to go ahead and put soap in it and let it sit hoping that would make it better. A few weeks later I decided to try again. Now the smell is just as strong and the soap I put in the container has taken on the consistency of water. I can't express how much it bothers…

A while ago I bought a matching toothbrush holder and chose this soap dispenser because it fits. That looks great! However, when I opened it, it had a very strong (not pleasant) smell. I aired it, washed with hot water and soap, let the soapy water harden, even tried vinegar, nothing went away. So I gave up and just went ahead and put the soap in. As you might think, this was a bad idea. Soap smells bad too. Oh, and some more green comes out the top. (My soap is white)
