Description of 📻 Zerone Airband Radio Receiver: DIY Kit - High Sensitivity 118-136MHz AM Aviation Band Receiver

Adopt band-pass filter, 3355 high-level, NE602 mixer, MC1350 programs in place, can receive 118-136MHz AM signal. Printed directly on the PCB trace inductance, greatly simplifying the assembly. The board has to listen to the AGC circuit to ensure comfort, while avoiding the long squelch noise. 12 V power supply, PCB board size is 9.2×7.5cm, which can be placed in 97×40×120mm aluminum chassis to use. pls feel free to contact us and let us know about the issue, you will be assisted ASAP, customer satisfaction is on our top priority.

no parts list no assembly instructions

No, instructions, no diagram, no way to locate parts or parts. Nothing that would help a Revain customer put a kit together. Revain must remove the set from the list of items for sale. This is the last time I spend money on Chinese junk.

Pros
  • please contact us and tell us the problem, you will be helped as soon as possible, customer satisfaction is our top priority.
Cons
  • Repair

Not happy with this kit.

There was an additional 4.7 kΩ resistor, the 1 kΩ resistor was shorted out. There are no instructions, just a diagram. 3 unlabeled potentiometers, just "tun, sq and af" on the board. The assembly is complete, a 1 kΩ resistor must be purchased before the first test. Having worked in the electronics industry for several years, I would not recommend this kit to the average hobbyist.

Pros
  • The board should listen to the AGC circuitry to ensure comfort and avoid prolonged noise reduction.
Cons
  • No

Not for the faint of heart

While someone with electronics experience can (more or less) successfully assemble this kit, those looking for a well-documented kit with instructions will be disappointed. The kit includes a high quality circuit board and approximately 90% of the components needed for assembly. Recipient. There is only one poorly printed chart with some recommendations for editing the back. No instructions, no parts list, that's all. My set was also missing a couple of film caps, but luckily they were normal…

Pros
  • Adopts Bandpass Filter, 3355 High Level, NE602 Mixer, MC1350 programs present, can receive 118-136MHz AM signal.
Cons
  • Minor problems

Problems with the DIY radio band receiver

The DIY kit has some small problems. Additional resistance 4.7K. There is no 10K resistor. Wrong circuit on the IF transformer T1 10.7 MHz. Invalid values for CP9 and CP10. Declared 10uF, should be 100uF. Modified kit to run on internal 9V battery and external 12V DC power supply via selector switch. So U1 was replaced with an LM7805 with two iN914 diodes in series to ground to provide 6.3 VDC for the receiver circuitry. For better sensitivity, the resistor R3 270 ohms is omitted. For…

  • Some small things

In my sixth week of staying the night at home, I found this kit on Amazon and decided to order it. Excited that it arrived 2 days early, I opened the package to only find a schematic, parts list, or assembly instructions. While compiling my own parts list and searching the internet for help, I found a site with some help. I started by placing the resistors and comparing what I found online with the schematic that was sent with the unit only to find differences between them. What I found online…
