EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED

Zero Water gets rid of everything including the horrible Nazi Fluoride. We use this in combination with two glass carafes that we rotate and leave filled. Filters withstand many uses. The water tastes clear, fresh and clean. Look for Himalaya's Fluoride-Free Peppermint Toothpaste and Skate Liver Oil Capsules to complete the Fluoride-Free Quest.

  • Beautiful
Cons

great idea bad execution

The filter works fine. I find the water cleaner. who really knows The problem is that the design is very bad for the elderly and children. It should have legs to lift it off the counter so the above people can push it more easily. It also needs a rounded front corner so you can easily pour while standing on the counter without leaning on the sides. Children are not patient enough to use the valve.

Pros
  • don't waste too much time
Cons
  • sad packaging

No more weird taste in my water

I love the size of the pitcher. I drink a lot of water and sometimes my tap water tastes like chlorine. So I bought gallons of spring water. Then I saw Zero Water on TV. No more lugging gallons of water home and recycling bottles. I gave it 3 stars for the value because it's a bit pricey between the jug and the cartridges. Still, it's worth drinking a decent glass of water and not messing around with gallon jugs.

  • Hands free

The cleanest, freshest water

I love this thing! I tested the taste and used a TDS meter on the faucet, a Brita filter and zero water. I live in Philly. Water was within the expected average range for the area at 218 ppm. Brita was 185ppm, so okay, lower. zero water. Zero. I couldn't believe it. The taste was very different. It was how cute and tasted so clean and fresh even at room temperature. It's so transparent in glass that even if you hold it up to the light, not even the smallest particle will float around. Clean…

like the new top-fill design.

I love the new design of the top where you can add water. The only issue I have with the pitcher is that sometimes water comes out when I pour it from the inside (rather than the fill part), so it's still filtered water but it drips and is a bit dirty. For the price of a jug, this really shouldn't have happened, but it's not bad enough that I'd go back to the old way. The new pen design is much better. Filters are expensive, but I can't imagine using less. I want them to be recyclable. I feel…

I bought this a week ago and 5 days in the water is sour.

I bought this jug a week ago along with a pack of 6 filters and I've been using it for 5 days and the water is suddenly VERY acidic. I must add that we already have a filter on the incoming water and the incoming water is not acidic despite readings close to 400. I changed the 5 day filter and retested the water and now it reads 195 but the acidic test is gone. Needless to say I am not happy after investing over $100 in Zero Water. At that rate, I would have to spend over $70 a month on water…

Bad water taste on carafes and jugs

Produces very good water with little use for about two weeks, after which the water takes on a strongly sour taste, whereby the number of particles is still displayed as "good" . ". Tried many fabric softeners - went through several different filters - same results :( filters. It didn't help anyway. The water becomes so acidic (and kinda slimy) that it's impossible to drink. I don't know what else is possible Yes Not that I live somewhere in the outback where the tap water is bad I live near…

Pros
  • Also understandable for old people

Bad water taste in dining and entertainment restaurants

Produces very good water for about two weeks with light use, after which the water gets a strong acidic taste, although the number of particles is still reported as "Good" displayed. Tried many softening methods - went through several different filters - same results :( . Tried pre-boiling water hoping to get rid of dissolved chlorine + possibly kill germs - no, didn't help. Also tried pre-filtering the water with a bunch of coffee filters. Anyway it didn't help. The water gets so acidic (and…

Delicious water is better than you can imagine!

We spent $32 a month on bottled water (2 adults + 3 pets) because our water sometimes smelled of chlorine and was cloudy with particles. I've been researching water filter jugs all weekend and this jug got top marks for removing impurities from tap water. When I first tasted the water I was amazed at how clean, crispy and clear it was. Sooooo much better than bottled water and was easy to clean and the design of this jug was perfect because the water dispenser works perfectly with no leaks and…

Doesn't quite work as advertised.

Zerowater have the best filtration technology and shipping was fast and free so no complaints. The only problem is the "Ready Fill" function. In addition to a spigot at the bottom, it is advertised that water can be poured from above as long as there is water in the tank. The front top of the tank is closed to prevent spillage when you pour water while there is water in the top tank. The problem is that there are leaky seams that will leak if you really try. The seams have to be sealed or made…
