Produces very good water with little use for about two weeks, after which the water takes on a strongly sour taste, whereby the number of particles is still displayed as "good" . ". Tried many fabric softeners - went through several different filters - same results :( filters. It didn't help anyway. The water becomes so acidic (and kinda slimy) that it's impossible to drink. I don't know what else is possible Yes Not that I live somewhere in the outback where the tap water is bad I live near Boston so the water quality should be fine Can't fault it Disappointed Waste of money.
