Large 14/16: my rating

I like EVERYTHING about it except the big one which is 14/16. I'm used to the large size 10/12 (small 4/6, medium 7/8, large 10/12), we bought them too big. It would be helpful to specify the size of numbers and not just the size of letters. It was cold so we didn't have time to go back and wait for another. At least it will be fine for the next few winters. Otherwise it's a great material, not too thick and not too thin, perfect for Texan winters.

  • Not as plush as I expected from the picture but my 14 year old loves it and says it's still very warm.
Cons
  • So crazy. My son chose this jacket and he loves it. Then, after about 4 days, the zipper doesn't work.

Material breaks easily

In the first week of wearing there were two tears in the fabric. My son is not particularly picky about his clothes. Again there is at least one other tear (worn less than a couple of weeks).

Nice jacket but look at the size chart...

The jacket seems very good but the size chart says L is 6/7...it's not, it's 14/16 so I sent it back. I found another size chart at the bottom of the page, this is the correct size.

Good warm coat in my review

My son loves the colors and the warmth. It is neither heavy nor bulky, but warms the house. We live in Wyoming where it snows and gets cold and the wind blows right through you. This coat keeps him warm

Great fit and warm I think

This jacket is perfect for my high school kid who doesn't usually wear a jacket. The jacket is thin but warm. Perfect for adding layers underneath for playing in the snow.

The arms are unusually short!

First of all, this is a very beautiful coat, and it looks like it will be very warm in winter. However, the arms are unusually short! I ordered a size up and the coat fits my son perfectly everywhere except the arms. I was hoping to get a few years less of this coat as I've been ordering more for it than usual. I'm tempted to buy him another coat because of the short arms. upset. I've bought this brand before with no problems.
