I have an ethernet cable going from my family room to my house and another from my house to my home office and I use a single plug between them. I needed to transmit HDMI over a 150ft Cat5e cable. That's what the advertising says. There is no joy. I could get it to send over a 30 foot cable. There were no intermediate lengths to test. At 150 feet, I lit up the link lights and the TV realized there was some sort of signal (it didn't go to sleep). but no pictures. Revane sent me a second set. No difference.
