🐢 Fortified Zilla Reptile Food for Land Turtles & Tortoises - 6.5-Ounce Pack Review

I have a 3 year old terrapin who loves this food. I've been buying it for a couple of years as a supplement to their veggies. Every night when I feed her I shake the bottle and she wakes up and goes to her plate while I pour her.

My russian tortoise loves it. I can tell because she's always a "Russian Turtle" when we dress it up for her! The little granules soak up well in water and never stay behind because she swallows them. Serious. My turtle loves this. Maybe I should try it. Maybe I'm missing something.

Our super shy rescue turtle takes a long time to get used to it when it gets wet. He was a hatched life turtle, addicted to earthworms, but after soaking and crushing the spinach and tomato mixture, he started eating them every day. It takes weeks, but he willingly finishes the mix at the end of the day. Moisten and stir every morning.

I'm not quite sure how to rate the taste. Strange that this would be one of the questions. Let me ask my turtles and get back to these! Other than that, my turtles Bonnie and Clyde Sulcata love this food! I should keep an extra container just in case! I would recommend this product to those who have sulcata. The pet store sells twice as much. Revain's prices are very reasonable and affordable.

Our turtle loves food My 1 star rating is the fact that our last order which arrived 1 month ago was a 2 out of 3 There was mold in there. I've never had a problem and unfortunately the Revain return period is 5 days. It's past its expiration date and we're keeping it in a cool dry place until we will use it. Not sure why this has happened but check the bottles as soon as they arrive.

This is a great food for my box turtle on vacation or to mix with other food. My tortoise eats a varied diet with lots of fresh vegetables and fruit as well as other sources of protein. I use it as a supplement to his main meals and he loves it. Sometimes I sprinkle water on him to soften the granules as I've noticed he takes sips of water while eating to soften the granules. I have been using the same brand of croquettes for at least 5 years.
