They are good because they are very strong. More than durable, the valve is higher on one side, making it easier to open! I'm the kind of person that sits and tries to open the package, so it's very nice for me.

This is a repeat purchase for me. I always like to have it in the house. Use them to freeze leftovers and prep foods and veggies ahead of time. I will even use them to freeze cooked pasta. easy and quick dinner with no problems. Serve with prepared sauce. Super will buy again.

I feel really stupid writing reviews of products we all use and know. I chose to just use the brand name because in this case and in most cases indeed; Generic just doesn't save when it's phased out, or just isn't made well. Groceries are too expensive these days to worry about freezer burn. Worth every dollar.

I have never been disappointed with a Ziploc product, their bags are strong and get the job done. I'd like to switch to something more sustainable and hope they find eco-friendly options, but when I needed them they worked well. If the price is right then it's a good buy. I just don't feel much environmental impact.

The product arrived and the box containing the ziplock bags was crushed. I had to wrap all packages with a rubber band. Doesn't make pocket access and organization easier. An awkward mess. Would return if time permits. Disappointment, this has never happened before. The outer box was fine, so it is obvious that the product was packed without any packaging material or was badly damaged from the start. Disappointment!

Only one bag had a hole which is hard to find in plastic bags. Even almost every other brand of freezer bags had 3/4 bag holes. I've bought many brands of food from local stores to find freezer burned food, but haven't seen really consistent quality. However, it appears that the gallon bags are thicker and are sealed at the factory with a hotter machine blade, which could explain the better sealing of the bags.
