Very difficult to use and mostly because the manufacturer doesn't provide instructions

No instructions so I googled how to fix the boot zipper. Aligning the long zipper and putting the zipper back together was a lot harder than I expected. I gave up and am taking these shoes to a shoe repair shop. It's available in a variety of sizes and accessories, but not something worth spending money on unless you're in the shoe repair business, in my opinion.

Not YKK zip puller

I tried to use them to replace the puller on a Cabela vest with a YKK zip. Got a slider but I couldn't get the floor to hook. The problem I ran into was that the slots in the sliders were on the bottom or side of the train. All YKK slides have slots at the top or near the tie rod. This may be a case of Chinese sliders versus US sliders as these parts are imported from China. I'm returning them to Revain and buying YKK sliders instead.

Still thinking

They arrived with no instructions. So I went to YouTube to find out how to install. Replacing a torn drawstring on men's jeans. YouTube showed 2 ways - one from above, the other from below. I really struggled installing the new linkage and when I did it didn't pull up or down. I gave up and installed a brand new zipper. However, the contents of the kit are very solid and include (bars, top stops, bottom stops) so I'll probably try again with a different repair in the future.
