Works well. Has a Zippo look, feel and sound. Significantly larger than the conventional Zippo. Very durable. The flame is very reliable if you use good quality butane. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stone wheel ignition butane gas lighter. It's an unusual combination, so people tend to pay attention to it and ask about it when I pull it out. The fact that it's a Zippo brand is just an extra point for being cool.

I recently found my old Zippo Blu that I've had for 30 years or more. I forgot how good these lighters compare to others. With the flame of flint and torch, this is the best light period. My old lighter has a clear fuel gauge on one side but as expected this lighter exceeds all expectations. Lights up every time and lights up in the middle of a hurricane. I needed a good butane lighter for my cigars and I love Zippo lighters so I gave this one a try. It works great as a lighter. This takes some getting used to, you have to press the shock wheel for a few seconds to release the gas and then spin it around like a regular Zippo. If you master the technique, it's not a problem. The only criticism is that the lid is a bit loose. On my other Zippos, opening and closing the lid feels crisp, while the BLU2 has a little play that feels a little sloppy. I
