Small hands? Player? Don't get THAT mouse.

I have small hands, 6-1/4 inches from wrist to tip of middle finger. I used to use a Logitech Trackman fingerball mouse (probably discontinued 6 years ago) which I liked, but eventually I needed a replacement, I figured a vertical mouse would give me the same experience and relieve the wrist pain that I feel with a normal thumb remote button of the mouse; I can reach the near thumb button, but I can't press it without changing grip and swing my arm forward.
