These wine bottle solar lights are great. I have tried the ones with only 10 LEDs, they are much better, brighter, stronger and last longer. Since I have an endless supply of empty wine bottles, I started giving sets as gifts to family and friends.

It was a waste of money and I wish I had used it before the return window closed so I could return it. Worked exactly 2 days (more precisely nights). After that, they started flashing, which means that the battery could not be fully charged. No matter how many hours I leave them in direct sunlight, a few seconds after turning them on, the lights start blinking. It looks like the batteries are not holding a charge.

This is my choice for many of my DIY solar lights. I glued the included rubber plug with Loctite go 2 glue and applied the glue where the wire exits the bottom of the solar panel. There were no problems with water. I do this because the wire will withstand some water ingress, but the connection between the wire and the solar tank will not. Product descriptions explain what is good with or without water. Only had to be replaced after 3 months of use, nosy people problems, no product problems.

Excellent lights. An additional rubber grommet that fits over the plastic stopper makes the closure very tight and therefore practically watertight. The lights are bright and beautiful and last around 6 hours, although some only last around 4 hours. When these fairy lights were first used all but one seemed to work (one was only DOA and never worked) but they are not durable at all. They were only left outside to charge on dry, clear days and returned to the premises at night, but one by one they all just stopped working.
