This works very well for what it is. There is no way to close the top, so it cannot be used in wearable situations. You must leave it on a counter, table, or other horizontal surface. I was concerned that the lack of a top cover would result in too much heat loss, but that doesn't seem to be an issue. Coffee remains warm to drink (not hot) even after 24 hours.

The Zojirushi Stainless Steel Vacuum Carafe is a must-have and one of my favorite pieces of coffee equipment that I own. It's a carafe, so there's brewed coffee in it.
