Review on ☕️ Black Zojirushi 64-Ounce Stainless Steel Vacuum Carafe with Brew-Thru Lid by Andrew Cramer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An excellent vessel for junkies

The Zojirushi Stainless Steel Vacuum Carafe is a must-have and one of my favorite pieces of coffee equipment that I own. It's a carafe, so there's brewed coffee in it. The lid allows you to place it under a tall coffee maker or if you do everything by hand like me you can place the cone directly on the lid and the liquid will flow into the carafe. The biggest problem with the carafe is that it doesn't close completely. So if you accidentally tip the carafe, a small amount of coffee will spill out. Despite this major stumbling block, I still love this carafe for three main reasons: 1. It keeps your coffee hot for a LONG TIME. I was busy and forgot something in it and much later in the day my coffee was still hot.2. He is tall! This carafe holds about 4.5 full cups of coffee - perfect for getting my husband and I used to drinking two cups in the morning. Ridiculously easy to clean. I've had decanters so close by and trying to clean them properly has always been a big problem. One in particular had a rubber seal that always came off and was a nightmare to put back on and the opening mechanism later broke. You don't have to worry, and you don't have to worry about the lid breaking! So if you are serious about coffee this is a great carafe and I would highly recommend it. It has its flaws, but there aren't so many that I think detracts from a good score. I've seen quite a few people complaining about it breaking and such - and in fact all of this could have been avoided if they had just read the 1/4 page care instructions that come with the carafe. Finally, yes, there is a sticker on the back. Yes, dismounting hurts - all paper stickers. But do you know how not to make this problem a problem? Either accept its presence (aesthetically, it doesn't ruin the carafe) or buy some Goo Gone. Problem solved.
