Professional Grade Zoning Round Zone Damper Review

I have a 3 zone system running off an old DuroZone control board. I knew the original shocks were dying of motors because 2 out of 3 would whine loudly when opening or closing. These Ecojay shocks were easy to swap out and the wiring was simple (1,4,6 on the DuroZone board). So far, all 3 have been working quietly and reliably. A 5-year warranty is comforting peace of mind. I chose these because they looked very high quality and they didn't disappoint. They are durable and easy to install. I like that they open and close with force and the stops are fully adjustable. I also like that you can disengage the clutch and manually adjust the damper, which makes calibrating zones easier. Once I figured it out I just plugged in the power and it was done. This is a very solid job, very good. They open and close with force, unlike traditional shocks that close and open with a spring. The drive mechanism is much better than the regular Honeywell or equivalent. Just make sure your zoning system is turned on, and remember that you need three wires for each snubber, not two for Honeywell and his peers. do not consume as much power as they do not consume power at the end of their movement like normal dampeners.
