The main reason I use this bedding for our snakes (sand boas and corn snakes) is that it is safe and non-toxic for them, even if they eat a little it won't hurt or so. They are also easy to bury. Tunnels don't collapse. I just clean up, remove any bedding that gets wet or has feces on it and replace it with fresh ones. I only have to completely change my sheets twice a year when I get clean right after pooping. The scents don't stay.

We buy this for our pet rats as there isn't much dust on the aspen. They love to dig in it and it's nice and soft for them. We clean her cage every day and completely change the bedding once a week.
