Great for Gargoyles and Crested Geckos

My Gargoyle Geckos love it. This is the perfect place to cool off when the room temperature drops below 70 degrees (f). I use it in a height adjustable lamp to keep the 12" x 12" x 18" tank from overheating. More would be too strong, anything less would seem weak.

Pros
  • Little competition
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Stops working after first use

I bought this for our new crested gecko last December. I tested it with our device and it worked fine. Then I removed it. We didn't need it for many months because it was in a very small case that retained heat well. As soon as we put it in a big terrarium and it got cold in the morning I took it out and it doesn't work. General. I tested our light with a different bulb and it came on right away, so I know it's not a bulb. The bulb just doesn't get hot. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Compatible
