Zoo Med Mechanical Filter Sponge Review

This sponge is awesome for aquarium filters. As a result of using this product, I found that my aquarium water was noticeably clearer than before. The sponge is easy to replace and clean, and it has a long lifespan. However, it can be a bit pricier compared to other filter sponges on the market. Overall, I would still highly recommend this product to anyone looking for effective and reliable aquarium pumps and filters.

I wish these filter sponges would last longer but they work, I change them every three to six months. Great price and it matches the Zoo Meds 511 filters. Too bad they didn't last longer. Pro * is the same size as Zoo med filters * great price! * easier installation

I bought this filtration system because I read the reviews on it which were mostly positive and they said it can handle turtles - 2 young ones, (felons) lol red -eared racers - in a 55 gallon tank - I understand they need to be in a bigger tank soon, but this filtration system hasn't kept up with our latest - Only positive is that the sponges replace the paper-type replacement filters. and they can be reused, but cleaning their aquarium to keep it looking clean has become a more common…
