My box turtles will eat this thing

I was skeptical about my box turtles eating canned food as they are very picky eaters. I don't know if they all eat it as my turtles share feeding stations in both enclosures. However, the food completely disappears from both enclosures every time I put it out. I have found that my adult box turtles eat it better than yearlings. I serve it with some form of protein no matter what. What I don't use I put in Tupperware and refrigerate until the next feeding. I don't feed it every day and week. I…

My box turtle ripped up this food!

My box turtle loved this food! It smells like fruit when you open it and contains chunks of fruit/vegetables in a jelly-like shell that allows it to stay together when you take it out to feed. Soft enough for a turtle to eat and he seemed to enjoy it as he ate every portion I made for him. I used it for a week (I kept it in the fridge). The product is recommended for use (in combination with dry pellets). I also had pellets, but didn't see the recommendation until he'd eaten the whole can…

The only food my turtle will ever eat is

. I couldn't get him to eat anything for several weeks. I've tried different types of food, from fresh crickets and fish to "special" dry food. He gave up everything. I bought a can of this and it went crazy! He ate an entire can in one sitting and now eats it as a staple. I sometimes mix him with kibble and vitamin powder and he eats it anyway. It smells a bit like bananas, but there is also corn and other vegetables. If you have a fussy box turtle or are looking for a good food to add to a…

Excellent food for turtles, enough if cared for properly

My turtle loves it! She didn't eat it the first month I had it but there were 2 learning curves. First, many turtles eat underwater. Make sure the turtle has free access to water. Second, turtles need time to adjust to new situations, so be patient. A lot of people complain that they get bad, so let me explain a few things here. Let's start with Covid 19. Half the planet cannot prevent itself, so how can they take care of another living being? Second, food shrinks when you expose it to high…

My naturally fed turtle loved the canned food and went straight to it!

My oriental box turtle loved this food. I have worked hard to find natural food for my turtle and she has always appreciated it, she seemed very happy and healthy anyway. Of course it's a lot harder than ordering online, but I get good fresh produce. I thought I'd see my naturally fed turtle even touch this stuff. I placed a teaspoon on his food stone while he drank and saw his interest in food beside him. The food has a pleasant fruity flavor and contains corn and other chunks in a viscous…
