Noise/Temperature The Zotac 2070 Amp Extreme has been running cool (65 max) for a few days now, mostly silent. You can tell it's well built. The card is a bit long and the sag was causing fan noise, so I used an UpHere GPU spacer to straighten it out. After that, fan noise dropped to normal idle/gaming limits, but there's still a slight click as the card cools down. So this card performed great at maximum settings on a 1080p screen. But unfortunately today I can't play for more than a few minutes due to the appearance of artifacts on the screen. I think I can RMA and hope to get a working card. It's a pity that I was very happy about it and only used the card for a week.

This card is amazing, I just built a new PC and chose it as my graphics card as I'm VR ready and with the next generation of headsets on want to be up to date that will arrive this summer. It currently plays all my regular non-VR games on Ultra settings at 1080p with no lag or performance issues. I like that there are settings for overclocking (although I haven't tried that as I don't need OC yet) and that the RGB LED on the side of the card is configurable.

It's not the best card out there, but it's a beast! I've played several high-end games with all settings set to maximum. I've lowered the frame rates below 60fps on some of the most powerful games (like Control), but there hasn't been an instance where the game couldn't be played at maximum settings. No Man's Sky is great for VR with this map and the Valve Index headset!
