Product Mentions "seedling trays "

These peat POTS are working well for the purpose we intended, growing seeds under a grow light until the last frost in fickle Virginia weather. There was no "seedling tray" included; however, we substituted plastic container lids without a problem. These peat pots do mold easily, so be aware of that. Placing the pots on some of those antiseptic cloths left over from the pandemic seems to mitigate the exterior mold issue. without impacting the plant growth.

Pros
  • 100% Biodegradable: Made of peat, these pots will break down in the soil in the end, environment-friendly.
Cons
  • The bonus plant labels might not include enough space for detailed information

Great pots for planting into a garden

These pots are great. They are easy to plant, hold up pretty well and are natural looking. The only problem I had was using these in my green house. Some of the pots started to mildew. Not sure why but if I only lose 5 out of 100 I am perfectly happy.

Pros
  • Excellent.
Cons
  • The pots might be difficult to transport or store without damaging them

Mold easily on my review.

These were a good price but they tend to mold much more often then the Jiffy pots. Because of this I tear them away before planting to avoid any more fungus issues

Pros
  • Worked well for starting my garden vegetables.
Cons
  • Everyone we used was moldy. I will not buy again.

Very Few Sprouted for my opinion

Very disappointed this year. Very few sprouted compared to previous years. Were they old stock? Maybe try a new company next.

Pros
  • Will work well for my needs and starter seeds. The labels are also of good quality.
Cons
  • The pots might not be suitable for all types of gardening projects

A Good Beginner Pot

These pots will mold, so be very mindful of moisture control. They do decompose quickly, more so than more traditional Peat pots. The only thing I didn't like was the black mold on the pot, but it didn't seem to injure the young plants.

Pros
  • The 4 inch size and round shape make these pots perfect for seed starting. They're small enough to use in a greenhouse or on a windowsill, but large enough to hold a seedling
Cons
  • The biodegradable material might not be compatible with all types of fertilizers

Perfect size, holds up well until it needs to dissolve

Great little seedling pots. Comes with plastic tagging sticks. Love how they dissolve just when they should. Great value.

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • The biodegradable material might not break down fast enough during the growing season

Good Quality and Value

I'm not sure how much peat is in these pots, but they are good quality decompostable and just what I was looking for. They even come with 100 plant labels!

Pros
  • Easy to transplant: When it's time to transplant your seedlings, you can plant them directly in a larger pot or out in the garden without removing the peat pot. This reduces transplant shock and makes gardening easier
Cons
  • The bonus plant labels might not be waterproof, making them useless in wet conditions
