I like this thermometer. It is very well made and works well. It's easy to use. It would be nice if there was a temperature table for meats like beef, pork and chicken and their respective temperatures. such as Rare, Medium Rare and Well Done. Other than that I am very happy with this purchase.

I hate to say it, but it's a kitchen gadget I don't know how we managed without. I highly recommend it.

This lightweight and portable thermometer is ideal for both indoor and outdoor cooking. I had a very fancy Brookstone one that needed to be plugged in, which isn't very practical. I can never tell by looking at myself if it's cooked or not and I tend to overcook food so I really recommend it. I would recommend that the recommended temperatures for different items are listed on the back.

This is my first meat thermometer and I love it so far. I tried it twice for pork and salmon. It opens easily and closes automatically when closed. It's magnetic so I can hang it on my fridge and grab it when I need it. It seems very accurate to me. I can finally make pork chops without overcooking them! Also, it comes with an extra battery. Seems to be great value for money!

I can't believe I've lived without one of them for so long! I used one of those old fashioned thermometers where you stick it and let all the heat out of the oven for 5 minutes while you wait for the temp knob to move. It's much better and doesn't guess the temperature. I haven't verified the accuracy, but we haven't had any undercooked chicken sick, so it's close enough for us! And it's magnetic! So comfortable!

I bought a couple of these for my kitchen workers to use while they work. We're constantly checking the temperature as the meat comes out of the oven and I wanted everyone to have their own. I tried calibrating one of them and when I checked again it didn't show the correct temperature. I tried 2 other others I bought and they were all the same.
