Ok so I should have read the reviews before buying but it had so many high stars I didn't. As other reviewers have pointed out, there is a hole under the straw which is just an open hole so if the cup is tilted at any angle the water will just spill out. We have so many water bottles, Contigo, Nuk, Camelbak, Pottery Barn, Thermos, Ello, Oxo and this one is literally the WORST. I will never buy again and will not advise anyone to spend money. Just buy something else

After searching everywhere for water bottles and trying them all, this one fits my needs perfectly! It's a good size, comfortable grip, the lid opens easily and doesn't leak! I recently discovered the block feature and that's an added bonus! But what I love most about this water bottle is the straw! That way when you open the lid the straw comes out - and it's a very wide straw that's easy to drink from and you can get a lot of water at once! Easy to use for kids (and not too big for toddlers).

These mugs are a lifesaver for my family! I bought my first one over a year ago and it's still working! Since then I have bought several more. I first bought them because my 6 year old autistic daughter has a habit of throwing things (which doesn't work well with heavy metal bottles). I can vouch for them not lying when they say they are "built to be pocketed"! Also, I'm VERY concerned about cleanliness and the mold horror stories I've heard about other water bottles. This is the second time I have bought this bottle for my children (2 and 4 years old). I love it for many reasons, but I will admit that it gets dirty/mouldy very quickly. You can take it apart — the top, the straw out, the part you suck on top out of the lid — but there are still spots inside the straw that I've never been able to clean enough. So be careful.
