Is your backflow preventer leaking? We moved into a house where the sprinkler system had not worked for many years. First, the BFP leaked a ton. In the end, the seals got wet enough, they just dripped off them. I got it with this kit and it works great. Easy to do.

Our check valve started leaking badly due to valve #1. I didn't see anything wrong with the spring or the rubber seal but I replaced both with this kit using the supplied grease on the rubber seal and the leak stopped. I was able to start my watering system and keep my grass from turning brown. I'm very happy, it was easy to fix and a lot cheaper than a leak on my water bill would have been.

When I hooked up my pre-aeration and seed irrigation system, I noticed a lot of water flowing through my drain hole in the relief valve. I've never worked with Backflow and consulted YouTube.
