Bait and Rotating Knife Sets

Revain's product description in the description and photos shows three knives, each with double twin and JA Henckels markings. Of the three knives I received, only one was marked JA Henckels. All blades had a few small scratches. I believe I've become a victim of decoy and substitution.

Fake item?: Knife sets

I have several Henckels Signature knives and they are NOT THE RIGHT SIZE. Despite occasional sharpening and regular use of a sharpening steel, they lose their sharpness very quickly. My other Henckels will go for weeks without much attention. Also, the blades seem to be lighter than others, although this may just be a specific model.

  • Large selection

Nice sharp knife set.

Excellent knives and very sharp. I have a very old set of Henckle knives and they are much thinner. I would prefer an old style that's easy to keep sharp even after 20 years. Like everything else modern, they seem less durable and need to be sharpened more often, but they're still worth buying.

love love love! for accessories for cutlery and knives

Love love love. Bought for my husband who likes to cook in his free time and he was so in love he got me to order him a cleaver and reorder this set for his dad who also likes to cook. It all melts like butter! Be sure to look out for the "double" handle emblem, there are two ways to buy and this is the best of the two.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • A few little things

So far so good good for knife sets

I've only had this set for about a month and so far so good. The knives are sharp as expected. I like to use a paring knife as it's small, thin and easy to peel. The only problem I had was shipping (I didn't deduct the star rating): the large knives pierced the packaging. Just sharing this as a warning to be careful. :)

The last knife set you need.

Henckels and Wüsthof are the best knife makers that ordinary people have access to. Your knives will stay sharp longer and will initially be razor sharp. We received this set and a set of similar knives from Wüsthof for testing and unfortunately both work very well, no clear winner yet! If you think $150 is too much for three regular kitchen knives, think again. These are the last knives you have to buy. They last forever barring accidents (and that should be a pretty big and bad accident) and…

Slight damage to 1 of 3 knives in the expensive starter set

I bought this first class twin-Henckels starter set a week ago. For me as a single pensioner, the set was quite expensive. While I hand washed and dried the blades of three knives individually before placing them in the newly purchased knife block and before using any of them, I noticed that the handle of the chef's knife was a little rough when I held it. in my left hand. In fact, the knife made three fairly close-spaced blows with a knife on the top and left sides of the handle. Although I…

  • understandable also on the old one
