The long strap is just a loose loop on a little head hat. In the end I gave it to pliers. The item arrived on time and in good condition. That's the only reason I gave three stars.

The size fits perfectly as I have a big head and most baseball caps are difficult to fit. So I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase as I will be purchasing additional cap colors! Finally, after so many years, there is a matching cap! Who knows what will happen in my life?!

These hats are great. I bought for my husband. They were actually bigger than expected so I washed them and they fit perfectly. Definitely a big friendly head. If it's too big for you or the person you're ordering for, just wash it and it's good.
