🧄 Effortless Garlic Peeling: Introducing the ZYLISS Garlic Peeler Review

At first I was blown away by its effectiveness, then gave it a thorough try, which one reviewer thought was best. But still it didn't help me. then I thought that maybe it's because my hands or the tabletop are wet that it's not that effective, and I was right: BOTH should be dry, at least for me. This can be a problem for me because my hands are almost always wet in the kitchen, but when they're not, it works even if I didn't trim the ends. I'm a fan.

My husband surprised me with this wonderful garlic peeler. He didn't tell me what it was or what to expect. He just took a clove of garlic and handed it to me with this peeler. My kids stood in silence while I tried the product. I ran the clove into the vegetable peeler and in 3 seconds I had a peeled clove. We all screamed in astonishment. I was shocked and amazed! I LOVE garlic, but I hate peeling it, so I started buying pre-cooked minced garlic in a jar, which isn't as good cooked as fresh…

I probably should give this product 5 stars but thought the 3 stars would reflect my initial dissatisfaction with it. A few years ago I had a similar product that was smooth inside and out. It worked well but got lost in traffic. Eventually I decided to replace it with a Zyliss product assuming they update their garlic devices. Out of the box I was disappointed. INACCURATE! Having to replace a very frequently used (almost daily) very inexpensive garlic peeler that we have had for over 10 years - just didn't peel as easily as usual, lost all grip. This Zyliss peeler caught my eye because I have owned a Zyliss cheese grater and have been using it 3-4 times a week for at least 10 years, a workhorse in the kitchen - still as durable as can be.
