I like the fact that this radio uses dials rather than buttons to adjust tuning, volume, band selection and so on. It has an internal battery that can be recharged by hand crank, solar or USB. It also includes a flashlight feature, SOS and compass. The sound quality is a bit harsh for my liking but the reception is very good. Overall, I would recommend this radio for camping or emergency use.

Great hand crank radio that is perfect for camping, weather emergencies, etc. Battery last quite a while and if it runs out you can crank it to generate power and also will charge from the sun with the built in solar panel albeit not very fast with solar. Has a reading lamp with 3 settings, and has a flashlight which is fairly bright. This would be perfect for power outages and emergencies. Sound is good overall.

Wow! This thing is fantastic!We recently used this with Hurricane Dorian coming through and then taking out the power.The reception and sound were great. The size is compact. And we loved that there are a whopping 4 ways to charge. The little EMERGENCY radio does everything as advertised. No issues with reception and sound quality is just fine for what it is built for. Flashlight is a nice touch and provides plenty of light in an emergency situation. If you are looking for a high quality speaker, phone charger or flashlight, buy one of each, not this product. This is an excellent product for any disaster situation and will be stored in my "go bag” just in case. Every home should have one of these.

Upon opening package all we did was crank it for the recommended one minute and it worked perfectly.picked up local radio stations and some a bit farther away. The SOS alarm was very loud, the lights were bright, and all controls can be easily found in the dark. This item is a must have in any emergency or storm kit. Going to add one to each car as well.
