Exodus is a great wallet for a lot of reasons. It has most of the features a savvy HODLer would want, wrapped in a nice UI. I love being able to link the mobile app and get addresses to receive coins on the go.

On the downside, it lacks a couple geeky features an advanced coin collector would want:
It needs the ability to generate more than one or two addresses per coin at a time. If you want to maximize anonymity, it's useful to have a lot of one-time addresses. If you lock your exchange accounts down so adding addresses takes days, you want to pre-load it with several one-time addresses to your wallet. Exodus doesn't let you do this natively.

It's difficult to manage multiple Exodus profiles. If you wanted one as a cold store and another as a daily driver you can use with your phone, you'd need to go out of your way to make it work. It's still best to use a Trezor or some other hardware wallet as your black hole.
