The Jaxx wallet supports more than seven different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dash, and is well known for its cross-platform pairing feature, easy to use interface, the client side security practice, awesome design, ease of switch between stored coins, native camera scanning, master seed backup, and more. The fact that Jaxx is a hot wallet, it’s not wise to keep a large amount of coins on it. This is not necessarily something to do with Jaxx, it’s just a basic security measure, never keep a large amount of coins on a hot wallet. For large amounts always use a hardware wallet.

With new Jaxx Liberty Update 2.2.0 you can transfer your assets from the paper wallet to Jaxx Liberty for any digital assets supported within Jaxx ecosystem. Also they refactored the wallet core engine for a smoother experience. You’ll now be able to pair and restore your wallet faster, and see which wallet is pairing directly on the loading screen.
Also they resolved the pricing inconsistencies between the Markets module and the Wallet information page.

- First thing I’ve noticed about Jaxx is the design. Wallet uses beautiful, minimalist black screens that bring simplicity to the user. *Great Design, Intuitive interface, Multiple altcoins supported, Ideal for beginners. *Wide selection of cryptocurrencies, including the world’s largest. *Highly accessible, with mobile and desktop compatibility and seamless integration across all platforms.
Cons
- *Not open source, Relatively young company. *Some bad press lately due to security concerns. *A lack of 2-factor authentication.
