Review on Lumi Wallet by James Eunices
Personal experience with Lumi wallet...
Lumi is a wallet supporting a variety of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum,and some ERC-20 tokens. I can say for sure that Lumi has its own advantages though,it is majorly a bag of disadvantages.
Some of the few things I enjoyed while using Lumi was its security. It allowed me as a user to back up my funds with a set of recovery phrases, not to mention the nicely designed user interface. These were the only things I have enjoyed using Lumi for two years now.
Aside these,Lumi is a total flop. The mobile application keeps hanging and connecting to false servers. It contains a lot of bugs and sometimes causes my transaction to be incomplete. Even if I use a 4G android,it still doesn't connect to its servers but instead says no network access. My warning and advice to those who want to use Lumi is not to opt for the android version or do not use Lumi at all.
Pros
- Supports a large variety of crypto curencies
- Gives users total control over their funds
- Allows for the use of some recovery phrases as extra security
Cons
- Signing up is tedious
- The web and also the mobile app hangs a lot
- It is not very compatible with android phones
- The transaction processes usually hangs and is incomplete leading to loss of funds sometimes
