Robinhood is a free trading software that allows users to trade stocks, options, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies without having to pay commissions or fees. Robinhood was one of the few brokers who offered free trades until recently. However, with many respectable online brokers removing trading charges and fees by the end of 2019, Robinhood's brilliant light has faded. Nonetheless, it's still a good option, and it's one of the few brokers that allows investors to trade cryptocurrencies. Robinhood provides web and mobile transactions, but the platforms are intentionally sparse, and some investors may be disappointed by the limited selection of marketable assets.
