Magnets are strong, yes, but only at close range. This makes them useless for projects where you may have any significant material between the magnet and the object you wish to attract.Let's say you want to make a knife holder and put the magnet behind the wood. Won't work unless you are using something like 1/8 ply.Let's say you take a router and cut a grove in a chunk of wood and embed the magnet flush, then these are perfect but you can see the magnet.Remember these are magnets, not miracles.See full review

It's the right size for Barbie dolls or other dolls of a similar size. It doesn't stay open but my daughtes have over looked this fault. We immediately noticed the stickers/decals were slightly larger than the grooved edges and the bottom was placed too far to one side. I was able to peel it off, center it and trim the edges though. I've been working on flip books with my 9yo and 7yo. As a bit of advice, I HIGHLY recommend searching for a tutorial video before you dive in - there's a ton out there, and they're especially helpful in learning how to actually do this well. My 9yo had a blast with it - he's made at least two books so far and he loves the magic of making still pictures animated.
