Special heater: my feedback

At one time my business was supplying portable temporary heaters to businesses and construction. I've seen them all I guess. I wanted something for my 4 season room that is just hard to heat. Electric heaters aren't quite beefy enough so I looked for something propane fired. I have only used it a few months so i can't speak to reliability or ease of repair just yet but that aside, this is perfect. For indoor supplemental heat it is easy to start, looks real nice and really can sweat you out or…

Pros
  • Little thing works great. Good for emergency heat or a garage etc..
Cons
  • I gave this 3 stars only because it is hard to start. Other than that it is a good product.

This unit works well.

The same day it was delivered I took it outside and installed a tank and fired it up. It takes a minute or so for the propane to flow through the hose and then can be ignited. The pilot lit up and as soon as it was getting full fuel it stayed lit. It functioned as advertised as I ran it through the settings. I did get a strong smell of burning paint as it was burning in on the first usage. I recommend burning it in outside on high for about an hour. I used a smoke/CO detector to see how well it

Pros
  • Heats my shop up quickly.
Cons
  • The heater can pose a fire hazard if not used properly

Works perfectly for my opinion

I would have given it a five star if the instruction told you how to move the adjustment knob. I learned this from reading reviews. You need to lift the knob half way up to go to the next setting. I almost ripped the knob off trying to get to the next setting until I read the review. I hope this helps someone like the review helped me. Good product.

Pros
  • Steel
Cons
  • It may not provide enough heat for larger rooms or open spaces

Great heater on my review.

We purchased this heater as a replacement to one that was stolen. When it arrived I was expressed with the heater it is so much nicer then the one we lost. I use it to heat a 400 square foot shop. I have only used it on the low setting because it gets to warm in the shop otherwise. It will maintain 70 degrees with no problem, the 20 pound propane tank on low during the day and pilot light at night lasts just a little over a week that is during really cold days. There is a wind guard along the…

Pros
  • Easy-to-use ignition system ensures simple operation
Cons
  • The heater may not produce enough heat for very large rooms or open spaces

Great heater on my review.

Great in my uninsulated 14x10 shed/ work shop. Will bring to comfortable temp within 15- 20 minutes and within a half hour I can work out there in just a tee-shirt.Great that you can move it around on the wheels and that the tank fits inside of it so its a single unit.No issues first winter. Hope it continues to perform this year.A bit smelly first couple times you use it. have to vent the area. After about the third use the odors went away.

Pros
  • Allows for adjustable heat settings to suit individual preferences
Cons
  • The heater may not produce enough heat for extremely cold temperatures

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great, but hard to light pilot light.

The only issue I have is getting the pilot light to light every time I turn the unit completely off or have to switch out tanks. Many other viewers complained about pilot light issues and bad customer service. I decided it was worth the risk, especially because of the low price. To light the pilot light the control knob on top of the unit has to be turned to pilot, pushed down and turned to activate the igniter until the pilot light comes on. Even if I stand there for a few minutes holding dien

Pros
  • Energy-efficient design helps reduce propane usage and save on costs
Cons
  • The propane tank may need to be replaced frequently, adding to the overall cost of the heater

portable propane heater

after minor easy assembly I found this a no brainer to use! bleed out the air and your heating. I purchased this as a backup for my mother that lives in the snow belt that has frequent power outages. I feel comfortable with her using this! its never a bad idea to have a carbon monoxide sensor for an extra level of safety. I have tested this 7 times before I call it good for my mom! this throws out pretty good heat! I am one that gets how things work. this works well enough to recommend!

Pros
  • Electric Space Heaters
Cons
  • It is not as energy-efficient as other types of space heaters

It works, but… best in my review

I bought this heater 3 years ago. It worked perfectly well the first year. Last year, the igniter start malfunctioning. I had to try multiple times before it stay lit. This year, I had to bypass the tip-over switch to get it running, but emitting half the heat it used to.

Pros
  • Compact and portable design allows for easy transportation
Cons
  • The heater can emit dangerous carbon monoxide gas if not properly vented

Keeps things toasty

This takes the chill out of the air fast. It heats our 900sq’ cabin taking turns with a space heater. Great to have if you lose electric. 20lb tank lasts approximately 2 weeks using on/off 6hrs/day on low.

Pros
  • Features a sturdy base for added stability
Cons
  • The heater may emit an unpleasant odor when first used

Great Heater - my new review

Liked so well I bought a second. For emergencies. Or so I don't have to pickup and relocate from room to room. I added a strip of hose to the handle for comfort of lifting

Pros
  • Provides efficient, powerful heat output
Cons
  • It is not suitable for use in spaces with low ceilings

Made All the Difference on A Chilly Night

This is a no brainer for my patio. Lightweight and easy to put together. Did take a sec to figure out how to ignite it (have to hold down the button a while.) But a great example is our Christmas party. We were able to flow outside and enjoy ourselves within minutes. The radius is only a few feet, but it did make all the difference. We wouldn't have been able to do that without it.

Pros
  • Automatic low oxygen shutoff system
Cons
  • The heater requires a significant amount of propane to operate for an extended period

Arrived fast and undamaged

This was just what my husband was looking for, he's made the garage his Man Cave, but during the winter months it can get cold. This heater was perfect for the space, came fast and was not damaged, all put together.

Pros
  • Easy to light
Cons
  • The heater is not suitable for use in enclosed spaces

Great for heating our Casita

We live in an RV resort on the golf course with an 800 SF semi enclosed casita. Bought one of these to see how it worked. Now with 2 along with our electric fireplace it is 73 degrees inside at 40 degrees outside. Most of our casita walls are just canvas. Neighbors are now flocking to buy this after visiting our toasty, warm space. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • This little heater work great!
Cons
  • The propane tank must be stored separately from the heater and cannot be kept in the same room

PIECE OF MIND in my review

Mr.Heater is absolutely a lifesaver on those super cold days. when you just can't get warm, and the furnace is on overload. Mr.Heater will warm your room and your bones. I personally do not like to keep my thermostat very high. I like too keep the rest of my house rather cool. I only keep the rooms I am using warm and comfortable. Mr.Heater is nice to have on hand in case the furnace would stop working, or if you would loose power. on a 20 degree day. I must have heat! A propane tank last about

Pros
  • I use this heater in my deer blind. It’s extremely quiet, & heats it quickly & efficiently!
Cons
  • It requires frequent maintenance to ensure safe operation

You won't be disappointed!

Very easy to put together. Well made yet light enough to move around (the propane tank being the heaviest component). I saw these at a restaurant and had to have them. They are better than the standing overhead ones since the hot air will naturally rise, best to have heat low to the ground, like your home heating systems.

Pros
  • Love how easy it was to hook up and so warm
Cons
  • The heater is not suitable for use in areas with high humidity

Awesomeness! good for me

We have a 30 ft RV and it heats the whole place on medium super warm! Rolls easy and lights easy. Uses way less propane than our heater that takes the green canisters. Only 1 neg. Our tank is short and round and if they had made the back a lil adjustable it would totally fit inside the back. It still fits but not totally in. Would definitely buy again!

Pros
  • This works. Highly efficient.
Cons
  • Propane tanks can leak and cause environmental harm if not handled carefully

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice cabinet heater with 3 settings

The only thing I would like added is a small fan, battery or electric, to move some of the heat out & away from the heater. I really like this heater and may purchase a second one as it works well.

Pros
  • Comes with a one-year limited warranty for added peace of mind
Cons
  • The propane tank can rust if not stored properly or exposed to moisture

So useful. for my opinion

I was going to attach a Natural gas unit to the wall but I just liked the idea of portability. Plus it's like 1/3 cheaper and function flawlessly. I made the right choice . effencent as well. I left the shop and forgot to turn it off . The next day I walked into a tosty shop. So I know what it will do. Plus the oxy. auto shut off didn't go off. So other that the bit of smell at first from the pain bakein on. There isn't that " I need to open a window " thinking. . SO. for the price and quality.

Pros
  • No electricity needed
Cons
  • The propane tank needs to be refilled frequently if used often

Great space heater, really hot, needs better igniter

This is a great little heater. The only flaw is the igniter is built into the gas regulator, and it has a safety on it that catches or has some sort of flow timer, so if it doesn’t light the first time, I couldn’t just keep pushing the igniter. I have to turn the gas knob to off and then try to get it to light again, but it doesn’t always click the igniter. I haven’t found a pattern yet as to when it will or won’t, just seems to randomly either click or not, super frustrating, but not enough to

Pros
  • Ideal for use in areas with limited access to electrical outlets
Cons
  • It can be difficult to set the appropriate temperature due to inconsistent heat output

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great product on my review.

I don't dislike anything. It is just as described. I like that you can just roll it out of the was when not in use. I guess the best part is that the tank is inside the cabinet out of the way which makes it a nice heater to look at. I own two of these and would highly suggest anyone looking for a better than most and affordable heater this should be the one to check out.

Pros
  • CSA certified. Outdoor use only. Run time (hours at maximum BTU) is 24 Hours and run time (hours at minimum BTU)is 72 Hours
Cons
  • The heater is not suitable for use in workplaces or schools
