The ultimate bug killer

I have several different bug killers and DynaZap is by far the best. We put a lot of thought into its design. It drops any insect on contact, from fruit flies to house flies. The retractable swivel head is very useful for finding the right angle to reach any insect on the wall, ceiling or floor. All you have to do is flip the red switch to the "on" position and press the green button to activate the zapper (you'll know it's active when the red LED lights up). It stays on as long as you hold down the green button. It's best if you hold it for at least a second or more before coming in contact with the insect. When you approach an insect, slowly move it over it to get as close as possible. So if he tries to fly away, he will make contact with the turret and get hit. That works every time. You don't stand a chance (if it's within an inch or less). I touched them in flight and they fall off immediately on contact. If you only kill the insect once with a short push. It is enough to kill the insect (if not immediately then after a while) and there is no mess. Thus, the small cleaning brush included in the kit is not needed. However, if you constantly shock the insect, it will create a mess. In this case you may need a brush. I did not use the batteries that came with it. Instead I used a set of high quality Energizer Ultimate AA lithium batteries. So to achieve maximum efficiency. When I put in fresh new batteries and turned it on, the head lit up and made a loud clicking sound like a stun gun (without touching anything). But this only worked for a short time. Because the batteries were new. Lithium batteries also deliver more power and last longer. Another reason I chose lithium is that they won't leak or explode like regular alkaline batteries. May I recommend this product? Yes.

Pros
  • Bug killer only electrifies when the start button is pressed
Cons
  • So far so good
