does the job. for welding and soldering

Excellent flux. Works as it should. The kit does NOT include a brush as shown in the "By Manufacturer" picture, but that's no big deal.

Pros
  • As far as satisfied
Cons
  • Exchange option

What does it work for wires.

Amazing I use it for soldering wire and I don't see a problem, better and cheaper than buying another flux. You get a brush when you buy the biggest one.

  • Very good value for money

Can be used to solder wires

LA-CO 22101 Regular Solder Paste, 2 oz Although advertised for use with copper tubing, it is good for soldering electrical connections. soldered, and the flux helps to clean and tin the wire before soldering.

  • Consistent test results

Great for electronics

I bought this because I heard it was good for the electronics and it is. I mixed some with MG Rosin Flux and it made it even better. lots of heat, but it works and it's cheap. I've never used Amtex or any other paste flux, so I can't compare it to anything other than plain rosin. (I do not recommend anyone to mix this with anything else) The combination gives good results.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Air to paste ratio approx 50/50

As you can see from the picture the container may not be full (or maybe it's just my pessimism). However, the paste matched the solder wick I used perfectly. I received 2 ounces. capacity, and at first glance it seems not so much; Especially if there isn't enough pasta. However, during my little project, I found that it helped a little. I'm using paste along with some other soldering materials on some small circuit boards. The pasta seems good. Also, according to the label, it must be…

Not recommended for electronics.

Do not use this electronics flux unless you can wash every last drop. I'm sure this flux works great on pipes that will flush out immediately, but don't leave it on anything for long. The organic/inorganic (water soluble) seems to be very aggressive. Instead, I would recommend getting some R, RMA, or No-Clean flux for your electronics project. look at my photo Imagine what will happen if you leave this flux under your SMD! EDIT: Before throwing this in the trash I stripped a piece of copper…

As advertised. Works well.

I see some people saying you can't use this for electronics. Spring. I looked at the La-Co 22194 datasheet. It is NON toxic and listed as suitable for BS6920 UK plumbing fittings. Listed for use with lead-free and all soft solders. Do not use with solder such as aluminum, stainless steel or silver. And it's non-acidic - non-toxic - non-acidic - water-soluble So long and short. Copper is copper. This works great for electronics. Tested on a SATA PCIe card, and boy does it help with small SMDs…

I solder copper jewelry with a 45 silver lamp, I tried two types of flux before I found this one, one was over 10 years old and useless, the other was extremely overpriced due to jewelry making. Craft shop department and gave the same results. I thought I was doing something wrong until I tried this one. It works great and I can't believe how cheap it is. I was shocked it worked because I read somewhere on here that it's not for silver, but it worked fine with my silver solder on copper. This…

Update 10/23/2019: I tried to use this flux for soldering a dchdmi slot cable for a direct current and even on a faded motherboard the solder appeared. SATISFACTORY, CANNOT TAKE A PHOTO. I HAVE A NEW DC MOTHERBOARD, NEW DCHDMI TAPES ETC. AND I CAN'T SHOW ANYTHING. I CHANGED SOLDER AND FLUX (MG CHEMICALS PASTE) AND DCHMI HAS NO PROBLEM. JUST TO MAKE SURE THIS WON'T HAPPEN TO ME, I ATTEMPTED TO SELL ANOTHER DCHDMI RIBBON CABLE TO AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT DC MOTHERBOARD AND IT ATTACHED AGAIN FOR THE…
