Worst design ever attempted using the clamp to base mechanism. So it has a bottom that attaches to the motherboard, then the fan/heatsink snaps onto its base and the CPU with a flick of the wrist. If you had all the space in the world and not a single fall affected your hands or eyesight, that would be nice. But trying to install this thing in the middle turret fuselage was almost impossible. This product is cheap and cheaply made and designed. So bad that it's almost impossible to install in a mid-size case. See attached images for highlighted issues. Without removing the motherboard or disassembling the CPU fan, it's impossible to access the clips (which require reasonable force to engage). Continuous air cooler. If you've installed the cooler before, it won't be that difficult. If not, then you can work a little. In terms of cooling, I'm using an i7 10700k overclocked to 5.0GHz and with no load my pack stays around 30-40 degrees Celsius. When Cinabench is fully loaded it jumps to around 85. And to be honest I'm right this is a nice budget motherboard. So overall I'm very happy with this cooler. Especially for the price! RGB lighting works as expected!

Looks good! And the price was amazing! Everything came to be installed. The only difference I made was that I used the socket of the CPU cooler I already had. The included base seems pretty flimsy. The setup itself was pretty much what I envisioned (not my first cool job). Nothing unusual. Anyway, great product for the price and keeps the I5 around 24° most of the time.

If you are using the standard processor bracket/plate for the AM4 processor, leave the screws loose (but do not remove them). Place the side of the processor spring/clip that does not snap/lock first. Gently hold the tab by the spring and use some force to slide it. Should be pretty easy. If this is not the case, you may first have to loosen the screws on the bracket a little more on one side. Repeat until it clicks and locks into place. less is better! Important info: If you are using an unlocked processor, stay away. It doesn't work at all with the 10600K, even on default settings.
